So fun to be five

This super cute mom called and wanted pictures of her little boy that was turning five. She said it was something she wanted to do when each of her kids turned this fabulous age. I loved her idea, one I think I might make my own! How fun to have a picture of each child at this special time. In my talking to her it came out that they didn't have a recent family picture. So I talked her into do the whole family. Reassuring her that she'd get plenty of great pictures of her FIVE her old. This little family was so fun. I think they are cute together. And I loved how the used the little girls dress to bring the family pictures together.

We had the hardest time getting the little one to smile. I'm glad I got at least a few with a great big grin! Because he wasn't giving them out freely that night.

Teenagers are so fun!

This young women was fun to photograph. She was easy to capture in such a pure and innocent way. I'm pretty sure she had fun too.

Father's day mini sessions

I had posted that I was going to do some mini sessions for Father's Day gifts this year. Here are are a few of my favorite pictures. I love giving pictures as gifts. I think they are one of those things that last a life time. As usual I had so much fun with each of these families. It was a bonus that they are all close friends that took me up on the mini sessions.

This young women was so fun to shoot.  I'm not sure who had more fun.  Her or I.  She was so easy going and was up for just about anything.  I love the pictures.  I've been learning more and more.  Thanks to the help of a fellow professional photographer.  

It's not too late for Senior pictures

I had a lot of fun with Cody.  He was so easy to shoot.  His mother was afraid she had waited too long to get his pictures done.  But in all honesty I am able to get you your pictures very quickly.  So if you haven't done your senior photos yet, don't worry it's not too late.

This family choose a more formal, Tuscany type setting.  But I have all kinds of fun ideas and places too shoot.  Plus I'm always up for your input as well.  If you've seen something you like let me know.  I want your pictures to reflect YOU!

What does a photographer do....

When they are bored?  They find someone to take pictures of in a new place.  I've really been wanting to try out some new places in Downtown Phoenix.  So off we went today to find some fun places.  I think some of these would be really fun places for HS Senior Pictures.  There were so many more places we could have tried if my models would have cooperated a little bit more.  It's a bit hard when your subjects are tired and hungry and you have a parking meter you are trying to beat.  I didn't want to push my luck with them.

Rainy day fun

I took this family out during a rain storm  We had so much fun.  It was great having a family that was adventurous enough to wait out rain, hail, and crazy wind.  We didn't get any amazing shots but we had fun anyway.
